Desiré van den Berg (b. 1991, NL) is an autodidact photographer based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, whose work merges documentary storytelling, personal introspection, and social commentary. Her photography is marked by its intimate, narrative-driven approach often focusing on the intersection of space, identity, and community. Aesthetically, her work often balances between art and editorial.

She is a frequent contributor to news media like de Volkskrant, the New York Times, het Parool, de Standaard, Vrij Nederland and De Correspondent. Her work has been widely published internationally like in DIE ZEIT, T: New York Times Style Magazine, Frankfurter Allgemeine (Quarterly), Das Magazin, De Morgen, etc.

She has a BA in Linguistics from University of Amsterdam and studied Chinese at University of Leiden and City University Hong Kong.
