Alejandro Galván
Sakir Khader

No Man's Art Gallery is honoured to participate in Art Rotterdam 2026, with a duo presentation by Alejandro Galván and Sakir Khader. Bringing together the work of Sakir Khader and Alejandro Galván foregrounds two approaches to depicting violence and its aftermath. Khader’s photographs and films often focus on singular figures caught in fragile, time bound moments, where intimacy and threat coexist. Galván, working in large narrative paintings, constructs layered scenes that weave together personal stories with broader social realities, including crime, migration and corruption.

Khader narrows the frame to heighten presence and vulnerability, while Galván multiplies perspectives within densely populated compositions. The dialogue between them underscores how lived experience is shaped by forces that are at once immediate and structural, visible both in a single body and across a crowded landscape.
